Stripe Capital ‒ Flexible Financing for Your Business

We've partnered with Stripe to bring Stripe Capital to eligible Ignition customers, giving you access to flexible financing based on your payment history with Ignition.

How it works:

  • Pre-qualified offers: If you're eligible, you'll receive financing offers via co-branded Stripe emails ‒ no need to go searching.

  • Choose your terms: Select your preferred offer amount and review repayment terms before committing.

  • Fast funding: Once approved, funds are typically deposited in 1-3 business days.

  • Automatic repayment: Repayments are taken as a percentage of your Ignition payments as they're processed, so there's nothing extra to manage.

Important to know: If you're approved for Stripe Capital, your account will automatically be switched to net settlement, and Ignition payment fees will also be deducted as transactions are processed.

Who can access this: Stripe Capital is currently available to:

  • US-based Ignition customers (Washington state excluded)

  • Accounts with Ignition Payments enabled

  • Accounts without a connected ledger (excluding those using Practice CS or CCH Axcess imports)

Eligibility is determined entirely by Stripe based on your payment history. If you're eligible, you'll receive an offer ‒ no action needed on your part to get started.

Improved Request Payment Emails + Payment Receipts

We've updated the Request Payment email flow to give you more control over who receives payment request emails. Previously, payment requests were only sent to the Primary Contact. Now, the flow uses Email Preferences with easy-to-use checkboxes, so you can select exactly which contacts should receive the email.

Why this matters: This brings the Request Payment experience in line with how invoice emails already work ‒ when you create an invoice from a proposal or instant bill, all selected recipients are emailed. Now, requesting payment for an outstanding invoice works the same way, eliminating confusion about who gets notified.

Bonus: You can now send a Payment Receipt for paid invoices directly from Invoice Details ‒ a handy way to confirm payment for your clients' records.
