Track trends and performances in the different tabs in the Insights panel.

Services

The Services tab provides a list of services that generates the most revenue for the current financial year. This provides visibility on which services are preforming well and are bringing in the most revenue.

Please note: This panel will only show the 7 services contributing the highest annual revenue for the period (current financial year). If you wish to get more data, we recommend exporting your service revenue to gain deeper insights.

Services Metrics

The panel breaks down the figures to Month and Year.

Current Month - The sum of all invoiced revenue for that service for that calendar month. Proposal services will need to be active and have an invoice generated for that calendar month. The % also shows the percentage of the service's invoiced revenue compared to the total invoiced amount for the current calendar month.

Current FY - This shows the total annual value (invoiced and projected) for that service for the period (current Financial Year). Only revenue attributable to active proposals that falls within the period (current FY) will be shown here. The % also shows the percentage of the service's revenue based on the projected total revenue of the current financial year.

Clients

The Clients tab provides instant visibility over your active client count over the last 12 months.

Let's take a closer look at what the Clients tab offers:

Understanding The Graph

The client's graph plots the number of active client for any given month over the last 12 months.

Hovering over a month will display a more detailed tooltip with totals.

Clients Metrics

Current Clients - The maximum number of clients for that month with active proposals that have commencement dates and/or end dates within the current financial year

New Clients - The number of clients that did not have an active engagement before this financial year.

Billed Clients - The number of clients billed this financial year.

Paid Clients - The percentage of clients that have paid this financial year.

Billing

Here are the key metrics displayed and how they are calculated:

- The sum of all revenue (actuals and forecasted) in the current financial year divided by 12. The variance compares the difference between this calendar month against last calendar month.

Average Client Revenue (ARPU) - The Projected Total divided by the number of clients who have active services with commencement dates and/or end dates between the current financial year.

New Client Revenue - The projected total of active services that belong to clients that did not have an accepted engagement before this financial year.

Average team revenue - The projected total revenue for the year divided by the number of team members that you have set in the Revenue Settings.

Proposals

The Proposals tab lets you track how many of the proposals you send are being accepted by your leads and existing clients.

All data shown in the Proposal tab is only for the last 30 days. Over 95% of accepted proposals are signed within 30 days of sending, so this timeframe gives a good sense of how well you are converting new opportunities into new business.

The tab also provides a comparison to the previous 30 day period. This shows you how the last 30 days is tracking compared to the previous period (30 to 60 days ago).

Understanding the graph

The graph lets you visually compare the value of proposals sent, against the value of proposals accepted.

What is the total value of a proposal?

This is the sum of all the fixed price work in the proposal.

For example, consider a proposal which will charge $500 when accepted and $200 each month for 10 months. The total value of this proposal is $2500. This is calculated as: $500 + ($200 × 10).

Estimates are excluded from this total. This is because their exact value won't be known until the client is billed.

Why aren't certain proposals showing up?

Proposals that have been revoked or adjusted (Classic Proposal Editor only) will not show in the data.

Additionally, only proposal where you have used the send to client action will show in the data.

This means if you use the move to awaiting acceptance action, these proposals will not be displayed as they were not sent by Ignition and therefore do not have a 'sent date'.

The metrics

Revenue win rate

This is your conversion rate by proposal value. This is calculated as: Value of Accepted Proposals ÷ Value of Sent Proposals

Win rate

This is your conversion rate by number of proposals. This is calculated as: Number of Accepted Proposals ÷ Number of Sent Proposals

Time To Accept

This answers the question "How long, on average, do clients take to accept my proposals?".

This is the median time from the proposal being sent to being accepted, for all proposals sent and accepted in the last 30 days.

Any proposals accepted on behalf of your clients are excluded from this calculation.
