Proposals are a key component of Ignition. Ignition users on average save 6+ hours per week creating proposals and engagement letters.

They're used to initiate engagements with your clients and present what services you're offering in a clear and professional manner.

When your clients accept the proposal, Ignition will start to automate your invoicing & payment collection.

You can create a new proposal from any page in Ignition by clicking the + New button and select Proposal to take you straight into the proposal editor screen.

Additionally, you can create a new proposal from a client’s file in Ignition, by clicking on + New button → Proposal at the top right of the screen.

Duplicating existing proposals

If you've already got an existing proposal, either as a template proposal or for another client, and the new proposal you wish to create is identical (or at least very similar) you can also create a copy of this by clicking on the proposal then going to Actions → Duplicate. This will create an exact copy of the proposal but without any client details. Now you've created the proposal, it's time to add the details!
