Creating and editing form templates
To create and edit forms, navigate to Templates → Forms.
Click New template to begin the form creation process.
You can also customize our default forms to get started quickly. Click the three dots → Edit to tailor the form to your needs.
Each form must have at least:
A template name & short description
An intro message
At least 1 question
A thank you message
Previewing a saved form
When you have finished creating or editing your form, you can click into it to view a live preview of what the form will look like to your client. Navigate between the Intro, Questions and Completed tabs to preview.
How to send a form
You can send a form to a prospect through a Deal in the Deals tab.
Alternatively, you can copy the link and share it with your clients directly via Share public link.
You can add the form’s URL to your social networks, websites and emails to provide more visibility to your prospects who may want to contact you or seek more information about your services.
Share a form with existing Ignition clients
Forms can be shared through a client's file in Ignition. Navigate to the Clients tab, select a client → under the Summary tab access the Send Form button.
View completed forms in Ignition
Save time collecting information, prioritize and onboard high-value clients, and deliver a seamless client experience. View completed forms in the Deals and Clients tab.
Prospects in the Deals tab with a completed Form will display a paperclip icon. Click the icon to view more details and access the completed form.
To view information collected by Forms for lead and existing clients, navigate to the Clients tab → select the client.
Within the Summary tab of the client's file, under the Forms heading → click the Completed form to view the information collected.
Your lead or client's experience
Prospects that received Forms via email will have their details added in Ignition already. Once the prospect clicks Start in the Form invite email, they will be prompted to begin and start answering the questions.
Forms access via a public link will require respondents to fill in their name and contact details. After submitting the form, they'll be added as a new lead in Ignition.
FAQs
Can I send Forms in bulk?
Forms can only be sent individually.
Can I export the information collected by Forms?
Currently, no. Information collected by Forms will remain in Ignition with the client's file.
