Notifications types
There are two main types of user notifications in Ignition:
In-app
Email
In-app notifications can be found in the top right corner under the bell icon.
Email notifications will be found in your chosen email inbox. (Note: You will also need to be an Ignition user. Learn more about adding users to Ignition here.)
Please note: This page refers to user level notifications. For global notifications, please see this section here.
Configure your notifications
To configure your own user notifications, click the bell icon → Settings, found in the top right hand corner of Ignition.
From here, you can select whether you would like to receive notifications via in-app or email via the checkboxes on the right.
Types of notifications
We have two notification types at the moment, with more to come:
Proposal reviews (Pro & Pro+ only): This will send a notification when proposals have been marked for review
Proposal accepted: This will send a notification when proposals have been accepted
Notification levels
There are three notification levels that you can subscribe to:
All clients and proposals: You will be notified about all things that happen in an account.
Clients and proposals I’m associated with: You will be notified only about the clients that you are the partner, manager for and the proposals that you create or assigned to.
Nothing: All notifications will be turned off.
Weekly Summary Email
You can also subscribe to your personalised Weekly Summary Email on this page if you like. Simply enable the toggle.
Global notifications
Global notifications have different functionality than user notifications as they usually have more critical information needed for a practice manager or principal.
See below on where to find and change these notifications:
Proposal acceptance email notification
If you were wanting to add an email recipient to notify when a proposal is accepted, navigate to Settings → General tab → Proposal Settings section and add/change the email recipients there.
Ignition payments notification emails
If you would like to add or remove any email recipients for payments related emails, navigate to Settings → Payments → Notifications to add or remove recipients.
