How do your clients use Apple Pay and Google Pay?
When your clients enter a new payment method either on their proposal or through their payment portal, they have the ability to use Apple Pay or Google Pay as the payment method if they are on an Android or iOS device.
πΊπΈπ¦πΊπ³πΏπ¨π¦ Apple Pay and Google Pay are currently available in the USA, Australia, New Zealand & Canada.
Apple Pay and Google Pay use the latest security technology to protect customer data and helps reduce the risk of fraud.
It's also very convenient by eliminating the need to enter card details.
How is Apple Pay and Google Pay shown in Ignition?
When a client uses Apple Pay or Google Pay, it's shown as a credit card payment method in Ignition.
You can find the client's payment methods under the Client record β Summary tab β Payment methods section.
Managing Apple Pay and Google Pay as a client payment method
Like all standard direct debit and credit card payment methods in Ignition, you can add, change and delete an Apple Pay or Google Pay payment method as you wish.
Navigate to the specific client record β Payment methods section β Manage to edit your client's payment methods.
Card payment fees will apply when a payment method is added using Apple Pay or Google Pay. Learn more about standard and premium cards here.
