Price Insights Top Ups

If you're getting great value from Price Insights and have used your 200 annual credits, you can now purchase additional credits to keep the insights coming. Top Ups are available as one-off packs of 25, 70, or 200 credits, with a lower per-credit price at larger pack sizes. Your included subscription credits are always used first (including after renewal), so Top Up credits only kick in once you've reached your annual limit.

Who can use this: Any practice with the Price Insights add-on that has reached their included 200 annual credits.

Ignition Reporting APIs (Beta)

Need more flexibility with your reporting? You can now connect Ignition data to your preferred BI tools (like Power BI) using our new Reporting APIs. This is especially useful for larger firms with sophisticated reporting needs that span multiple offices, departments, or service lines.

Who can access this: Customers on Pro+ or Enterprise subscriptions can participate in the beta.

Faster Unpaid Invoice Detection and Streamlined Setup

We've made it significantly easier to go from connecting your ledger to collecting payment on unpaid invoices. Phase 2 of our Accounts Receivable improvements includes:

  • Faster detection: Unpaid invoices are now identified right after your ledger is connected β€’ no more waiting overnight.

  • New Home widget action: A "Request Payment" button now appears on your Home dashboard so you can act on outstanding invoices immediately.

  • Simplified branding setup: A lightweight wizard walks you through adding your logo and brand color so you can start sending professional invoices faster.

Together, these updates create a smoother path from ledger connection to invoice collection.

Who can use this: All Ignition accounts connected to Xero or QuickBooks Online. The widget is available to Owners and Admins when importable invoices are detected.

External Client IDs

You can now track your firm-specific Client IDs directly in Ignition. If you use an app like CCH, Onvio, or Practice CS, Ignition will automatically pull in Client IDs during App Client Imports. This field is also available through Zapier, giving you a consistent data point across your entire app stack.

Why it matters: Keeping client records consistent across all your tools saves time, reduces errors, and makes cross-platform workflows much smoother.

Who benefits most: This is especially useful for larger firms using industry-specific practice management systems, but firms of all sizes and industries can take advantage of it.

Deals and Forms Improvements

The Forms and Deals features received several handy updates this month:

  • Optional questions: You can now toggle individual form questions to be not required, giving your clients a more flexible experience.

  • Export responses: Download a CSV of all responses from within each form for easy reporting and record-keeping.

  • Resend a form: If a form hasn't been completed yet, you can now resend it directly.

  • Filtered form lists: Quickly view counts of completed vs. awaiting response forms.

  • Deals pipeline polish: The Deals pipeline now features improved styling, clearer icons, better validation messaging, improved linking to closed deals, and deal counts within each stage.

Simplified Payment Portal

The payment portal experience for your clients has been streamlined. Clients no longer need to enter an invoice number to request their invoice β€’ they simply enter their email address, and Ignition sends all outstanding invoices for them to review and pay. Even better, clients can now pay all outstanding invoices at once, saving time for everyone.

Clearer Billing in the Proposal Editor

The Services tab in the New Proposal Editor has been updated to make billing setup easier to understand and use:

  • Clearer billing structure at the group level

  • Separated billing control groups for easier configuration

  • Improved table layout and subtotal placement

  • Consistent price type behavior

These changes make it much easier to set up manual billing correctly when building proposals.

CCH Manual Invoice Import

If you use the CCH integration, you can now manually select which invoices to import into Ignition, rather than automatically importing all invoices from the last 90 days. This brings the same flexibility already available with Xero and QuickBooks Online.

Partner/Manager Filter in Billing

You can now filter manual billing items by Client Partner and Client Manager. This is especially helpful for firms where partners or managers handle billing for their assigned clients β€’ cutting through the noise to show only what's relevant to you.

Refreshed Apps Page

The Apps page in Ignition has a new look! Each app tile now includes a brief description of what the app does and how the integration works with Ignition, making it easier to understand your options at a glance.
